Eagan Lights Contest: Spread Joy this Holiday Season!
EAGAN, MINNESOTA - Residents and businesses in the City of Eagan, Minnesota, hope to start a new annual tradition this year to help bring the community closer together and spread more happiness this Christmas season!
The Eagan Holiday Lights Contest, sponsored by Realator Liz Gust, Think Bank, and Finacial Advisor Stacey Bartelson, is a new annual tradition that welcomes the participation of residents and business storefronts in the City of Eagan, even if you are renting with permission from your landlord of course. The contest includes three prize levels:
Best Non-Moving: Static light display on a house, yard, fence, tree, or combination of these
PRIZE: $50 Gift Card To Eagan Business of Your ChoiceBest Animated: Animated/Moving light display on a house, yard, fence, tree, or any combination
PRIZE: $75 Gift Card To Eagan Business of Your ChoiceBest Themed Display
PRIZE: $75 Gift Card To Eagan Business of Your Choice
Registration began on Saturday, November 18, 2023, with the deadline on December 5, 2023. Public voting will begin on December 7, 2023, and ends on December 20, 2023. Your display must be active between dusk (4:30 pm) to 10 pm each night. Winners of the contest will be announced on December 21, 2023.
To vote for your favorite displays in the three respective categories, each home or business that is part of the Contest will have a sign displayed in their front yards with a QR code you can scan, or you can go to the contest website where a Google form can be filled out with your favorite entry. You can additionally find a map on their site that will show the residences and businesses participating in the contest.
