Minneapolis Shooting: 2 Injured, Suspect Found Dead With Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound

MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA - Minneapolis Police state they are currently investigating the circumstances around a shooting on the 3800 block of E 39th St that left two injured Saturday morning. The suspect of the shooting was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

According to police, preliminary reports indicate that an 18-year-old shot a 57-year-old male and a 54-year-old male before fatally shooting himself. The 18-year-old shooter is believed to be the son of the 57-year-old.

Both victims are expected to survive. Police say the Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release the man's name along with the cause of death and encourage anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or CrimeStoppersMN.org.
